Question:

Suing Chrysler?

I have a 1999 Chrysler Town and Country minivan and several weeks ago the car seat went on fire causing a complete loss to the car. The fire dept. said it appears the fire started at the power seat motor. I did a search online the very next day and it appears that the same year/make/model car has a history of car seats just going on fire and causing damage to the car and in some instances, people were burned. There has been 47 complaints filed with the NHTSA besides my complaint. Now my question is, can I sue Chrysler as a class action case for putting our lives at risk. There seems like their is a fault somewhere in the manufacturing process or equipment used on the car. Please let me know. I don't know to what extent we can get any compensation from Chrysler and don't know if that really matters at this point. However, I would want them to recall the vehiciles. Just think if a mother with children were in the car and the seat caught fire. We are talking peoples lives here. not a car.

  1. Yes find a Dependable lawyer first

  2. chrysler will eat you alive.

you cant sue companies that big.

  3. You will not win nor even get this to court.

If you do more research you will find that your van along with many other vehicles on the road have alot of problems and some of them have burned down but 47 or 48 cases, forget it.
