Hi, I have an Exo-Terra vivarium, measuring 60x60x45cm. My chameleon sadly died a while back so I was wondering what reptiles/amphibians i can put in there now. Here is the vivarium I have if you haven't seen it before:

^It is the PT-2612 on that site.

  1. Maybe try a ball python? I heard they have great temperaments. They can be finicky eaters though. They are very pretty to look at though. Once you find out its eating pattern, it shouldn't be a problem!

    Good luck!

  2. I'd say that a snake would fit until it got too big, otherwise maybe a couple of frogs, a few anoles, or maybe a crested gecko.

  3. try asking a reptile shop they should give you plenty of help and show you the reptiles and amphibians and you can look at eaches characteristics

  4. tony blair

  5. im sorry but putting a ball python in a 2 ft terrarium is cruel!

they grow to 6 ft and need a VIVARIUM at least 4ft

they also like their privacy and having a terrarium with all glass sides is sure to stress the snake out!

for this vivarium you could put a smaller snake such as a rough green snake, you could also put a gecko or an anole in there

    maybe a small skink

but put plenty of climbing material and greenery (fake or real) so these small animals have somewhere to retreat

an animal should be able to strech its whole body out in its own house

  6. I'm biased as I have a Royal Python called Monty (What else?), you're vivarium looks very nice and would be quite suitable and large enough, they grow to between 4 - 5 feet and never stretch out, so it's quite big enough.

The only addition you would need which I can't see in the photograph, is a dark place where pythons like to rest otherwise they get stressed out. You can just see Monty's little cave in my half finished home made vivarium.

Although he is 4 foot long, he can curl up into a 'ball' inside it.
