Both of them have been linked to take over from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello when he steps down from the job after the Euro 2012.
Muntari, who is currently enjoying a loan spell with Sunderland under Bruce, said, “Steve Bruce is a great manager and he could do the job as well because he can bring the group of players together and bring the best out of them. Plus he is English and he
is a top manager so he could do the job.”
Muntari also praised Harry Redknapp, who was his boss in his Portsmouth days. Redknapp is currently working with the Tottenham side and has guided them to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the club’s history. Muntari said
that Redknapp has proved his worth and shown everyone that he is capable of handling the big job.
He said, “I think Harry would get on easily as England manager if he was asked to take the job because everywhere he goes he has done really well and taken his club on to higher levels. He did it at Portsmouth and he has done the same with Tottenham. It
was great working with Harry. “
The 26-year-old continued to say that Redknapp knows the mentality of each player working under him and he knows how to get the best out of them. Muntari added that Redknapp brings unity to the squad and he regards him as a fatherly figure. The former Udinese
midfielder wishes to play under him for one more time in his career.
Muntari feels that Bruce and Redknapp have similar qualities and he is honoured to have worked with both of them.
