  1. YEAH TRY OUT BUT PRACTICE A LOT SO U CAN MAKE THE TEAM THEIR R A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT PLAY CLUB AND IT'S HARD TO GET IN IF U DON'T !

    THINGS 2 WORK ON :

    SET: W/ TWO HANDS

PASS: KEEP UR PLATFORM IN UR MIDLINE DON'T SWING DON'T PASS ON UR WRISTS BUT LIKE 10 FINGERS UP .

SERVE: OVER HAND CONTACT HARD DON'T SNAP UR WRIST

    HITTING: TAKE AN APPROACH

    LEFT     RIGHT     LEFT

    SLOW  FASTER  FASTEST

    SMALL BIGGER BIGGEST

THE LAST 2 STEPS R FAST

    HOPE IT HELPS!

  2. YES~ just try out cuz you should see if your good or bad at it and need some improvement

work on hitting the ball over hand, setting it in the middle, and spikeing the ball and i'm sure ur good at bumping the ball to the setter

Things you need to do before you start on that:

Work on your arms for overhand serve, and spike

stomach- so you wont get tired and stomach aches

legs- your going to be moving around alot

  3. I dont no much about volleyball but if you enjoy playing it dont matter how good they are. You play for fun. You will also be with your friends so it wil be even better.

  4. Sure go for it, you only get better with practice.. To improve on speed or your jump,.. try jumping rope for a few days... try lifting some little weights for strength so when you hit the ball over it will go over with speed.  Good luck!  Try it you might be better than you think.

  5. yeh give it a shot you don't really have anything to loose :D

lol.. um u need to know how to serve, set, dive, all that stuff good luck.

best of luck. my wishes to ya!

  6. Sure, go for it. What do you have to lose? Here are some things to keep in mind:

    1. Basics, passing, setting, serving, spiking.

    2. Get low, bend your knees and be on your toes

    3. Cheer and call the ball. Coaches like this.

Does you city have a club team that starts before your school team? I did this and it really improved my skills.

Since your friends want you to tryout for the team, maybe they could do some practising with you, you could go out and play "pepper" (passing back and forth), or join a rec/beach league. Best of luck!
