Sumach Tree.(Tree of Heaven) How do you kill it plus all roots and suckers

The suckers are growing in my other bushes and rose roots!

Your local tree surgeon will be able to treat the stump with a very effictive chemical that will kill all the roots. Unfortunately it is not available to the public.

Keep digging it out. Why kill it? It is a lovely tree in the autumn

You need to dig out the stump of the tree and as much of the roots as possible. If you don't it will just keep regrowing. It will help if you water the soil a few days before you try to pull it. I don't like to use pesticides, but in this case you may want to use some roundup. Just be careful not to get it on plants you want to keep. Tree of Heaven is an invasive weed in some parts of the country. Beautiful plant, but a pest in some climates. Check out the link below from the national park service for more detailed instructions.
