Summer's here n i'm kindda interested learning how to skimboard..any1 knw where i can inquire (mla area)?

Not sure where the mla area is but my advice would be the same regardless.  Just go to a local surf or beach shop and buy a fairly inexpensive beginner skimboard.  A $50 fiberglass board would probably do the trick (you don't want to buy the $10 wood piece of junk from the local grocery store).  Then just get out there and do it.  Nothing will ever beat hands on learning.  Also, it will help to watch others that are out there that are good and just mimick their moves.  You will get it.  Just keep at it!  Probably wouldn't hurt to do a lil research online before you get out there to get some pointers.  Wish I could point you a direction but I learned the exact way I described above and you can too.
