Summer Abroad..?

im 16. i want to spend a summer, or most of the summer, in a foreign country. Im learning spanish in school. im not the greatest at it, but when i went to the Dom. Republic i spoke pretty well, i think. haha. So im asking what are some Good programs to look in to?! And any experiences you would like to share.

  1. You could do a month-long intensive language course through concordia language villages.

Check out some college websites for summer language programs abroad.  A lot of them will take qualified high school students.  I think Tufts and Middlebury still have those programs.  I've taken Goethe Institute German courses in Germany, Alliance Francaise courses in Paris and a Quorum Idiomas course in Nerja, Spain.  The German and French courses were pretty good.  Not so much the Spanish course.  But there are a lot more out there.  Check it out.
