Summer Conditioning ideas? Swim team?

Hello,

I want to make swim team, which starts around the time that school starts, a little later..

There is swim team conditioning going on i think for 2 weeks in july and 2 weeks in june for 1 hour Mon-Thurs.

Other than that, what kind of conditioning should i do, to make sure i can make swim team tryouts??

Workout plans would help?

  1. Something you could try is going to the y and being independent. write a workout with times that you know will challenge you and distances u have never swam before. One my swim team, we usually swim for about 2 hours a day and swim 6 thousand yards. But I am in one of the highest levels. Start slow and get faster!!! If you don't make the team, oh well. Try a community team where u don't have to try out and improve your strokes and try again!!! good luck!

  2. go to different swimming centres and ask if they have a squad and see about joining up

    im in a squad and we swim up to 3km in a lesson its gonna be different.
