Summer Holiday in France....?

we're going on holiday to France in July for the summer, but im just wondering where are the best/cheap places...we are planning on renting a lodge thats for 10 people max. (including children)

Do you have any ideas??

There are lodges in France?!  Sorry I have no clue how to help you and I've traveled to France alone & with groups several times.  Your best bet is to start searching the internet.  You should be able to find some British sites with good info if you can't find American ones.  

It would help if you chose an area (region, city, etc.) and could start there.  Many cities (provinces, etc.) have websites with links for lodging.  Many have English versions of the sites.

Go somewhere quite rural to get a real feel of the french people go to Paizay-Le-tort in Deux Sevres, Poitou charentes. Or if you have some money go to the South!!!
