Question:

Summer Job dilemma?

I'll be traveling outside USA within a month, and I would like to find a summer job within this month. So the problems I'm dealing with right now is that most job positions require trainings to begin with, and you would get paid minimum wage for that. By the time that training's over, it'll probably be my time to leave. In addition, what kind of place would be okay hiring someone just for a short month? I just want to earn some money to use for the trip, so anything that pays around $9/hr would be good. I want to earn atleast $500 within this period(a month). I'll really appreciate anyone that has helpful recommendations! I'm looking for detailed and informational responses, so if you are just going to answer with few words that I could've just thought of on my own, don't bother. Thanks~

  1. If you have any telemarketing/teleservice places def go their! we have a lot in my town and I am currently working at one for the summer... I started day one with two weeks of training, which I got paid 7.75 an hour for and then after the first two weeks of training I was put up to $9.25 an hour, and get paid time and a half for any overtime...
