Summer Movies of 2008...best ever?

I've just read an article saying that a lot of people believe that this summer of movies has been one of the best.. With movies like The Dark Knight (my favorite!) Iron Man, Step Brothers, Mamma Mia, Tropic Thunder, etc. Do you agree? What is your opinion? =]

It definitely was a great summer to go to the movies. The Dark Knight definitely lived up to the hype, and Tropic Thunder was liarious.

I agree the best movie of the summer was the dark knight and iron man i loved them both they have 2 make a sequel for dark knight and iron man next dark knight i want 2 see riddler and cawoman and mabe more of the joker if they could find someone else to play the part

I agree, The Dark Knight would have to be the best movie (my favorite too) of 2008, i mean i'm totally in love with this movie, expecially Heath Ledger's The Joker.

He nailed the role so perfectly he deserves an oscar and most definately deserves to be alive for this.

It's such a shame for a guy his age to die so young with a phenonmenal performance, that his legacy as The Joker will live on forever!!!

dude, this summer rocked it was a summer of blockbusters like wall-e (which is my favorite!) mamma mia, sisterhood 2, iron man, the dark knight, tropic thunder, hulk, step brothers, i wuld say it was a ginormous summer! btw- they need a wall-e sequel!

yeah, I would actually agree, this was a really exciting summer for movies. I mean, The Dark Knight alone could have made the summer. But with the excitment of all the others this summer, it has been pretty awesome. I loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Pineapple Express, Iron Man, Mamma Mia, and Tropic Thunder. And with it being the summer it was a great time to go to the drive in. I mean, this is definitely the best summer for movies I can remember for a while.
