im so clueless about this flower summer pholx..please help

Do summer pholx rebloom again once the flowers have fallen off? should i deadhead it? how do i control the mildew on it...my flowers have fallen and now i see some whitish stuff on the leaves....what do i do...

when i bought this flower its just one stem that had flowers on top will this muliply next year with more stems or just the one will come again...should i have planted more stems to make it look fuller ......how quickly does one stem spread...

  1. Phlox is an easy-care perennial which should re-bloom if you dead-head after flowering.  They multiply readily (more than one flowering stem should come up next year), although you can help them along by planting in a group of 5 or 7 to start with.  They are thirsty plants so water every few days in a dry spell.  Here's a link for some plant care tips.  Good luck :-)
