part of my summer reading is to pick symbols that best fit 6-9 main characters

i was thinking for edward it could be a crystal heart.. but i need a good reason why a crystal heart would represent him

(i also have no idea what book edward gave bella the diamond necklace, i would like to know that too)

Renesmee- blood- she is the tie that binds everyone together through her blood she is bound to both human and vampires

James- video camera- his form of manipulation

Victoria- water- it never stops moving, crashing against the waves

Aro- the painting Carlisle has of him

Rosalie- baby- that is what she resents about Bella, not being able to have children of her own.
