part of my summer reading is to pick symbols that best fit 6-9 main characters

i was thinking for edward it could be a crystal heart.. but i need a good reason why a crystal heart would represent him

(i also have no idea what book edward gave bella the diamond necklace, i would like to know that too)

you could just copy this and fill it out ;) (hint hint, nudge nudge ^.^)

Edward- crystal heart?

Bella-

Alice-

Charlie-

Renesmee-

James-

Victoria-

Aro-

Rosalie-

just to save some time and space, ill mention that, yes, i actually did read the book, and it was wonderful

Please, im begging you, dont tell me you love/hate the book, or that i should do this on my own (i know), or should have read this 'cause its really good,

any input at all is a great help, thanks!

  1. Edward- crystal heart?...being a vampire, his heart is frozen and well you could say it's sort of turned to ice...so sort of crystally...sorry it's the best I can do

    Bella-just a normal heart...or a beautiful flower...because she represents something so beautiful...love...(cheesy I know)

Alice-ballet shoes, as she is so impossibly graceful...

Charlie-a police badge (if you can't get one, a picture should suffice), as he is a police officer

Renesmee-A cross between the symbol you will use for Edward and the one you use for Bella, as she is their child...

James-A tracking device...as he is a tracker vampire

Victoria-A broken heart surrounded by flames...representing losing her loved one and then the anger she felt and the thirst for revenge

Aro-A crown,as he is the leader of vampires

Rosalie-a picture of a baby, as that is what she wants most

  2. Edward- crystal heart?

    Bella- an apple (forbidden fruit)

    Alice- crystal ball?

Charlie- something blind like (unknowing) or a shield (protective)

    Renesmee- something innocent yet deadly

James-  a symbol of determination... or a compass, knowing his direction

Victoria- a symbol of love, a heart of sorts?

    Aro-  a symbol of power....

    Rosalie- a mirror (vain)

It was Aro that gave Bella the necklace as a wedding gift - in breaking dawn

  3. For starters, Edward never gives Bella a diamond necklace, Aro does in Breaking Dawn.

Edward-Crystal heart, because it represents the love he feels for Bella with his cold, unbeating heart. (Crystal is cold, and also doesn't beat) perfect representation...

Alice-A magic eight-ball? or something like that. Considering she sees the future. Something to do with fashion even, because a major part of her existence is fashion...

Charlie-A gun, to represent him being a police sheriff and willing to do anything to protect Bella.

Renesmee- A bracelet, the one that Bella gives her for Christmas. It will represent what a major part of everyone's life she becomes.

James- A video camera? I mean, he does record Bella at the studio, and vampires have fantastic memory, right?...

    Victoria- No idea, sorry :S

Aro- A king's crown. It represents his position among not just the Volturri, but all vampires...

Rosalie-This may sound ridiculous, but a toy baby with black hair? Considering that's the thing that she finds most difficult to get over. The fact that she didn't get a normal human life, and that's why she's always so bitter?

Wow, I feel like I just did all you homework but anyway :P I had fun doing it ;)

Hope I was some sort of help :)
