Summer Track Training Help!?

i'm going into 8th grade and did track this year. next year, 8th grade, i doing track again. the events they have are 100m,200m,400m,800m, and 1600m. i usually do the 200m cuz thats wat im best at. and sometimes the 100m. over the summer i want to train for track. i want to train for both sprinting and long distance. is there any way to do that? thanks!

  1. You should be doing speed endurance workouts.  Here are some links to some sites that may be helpful.

  2. You should run summer track. You can find a team near you by going to www.usatf.org find the association in your area, they will have a list of teams and you can talk to the youth chair for some guidance.
