Summer attire for groomsmen??

Question

Our wedding is June 6th and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what the men should wear. I dont want my fiance to be sweating all day and uncomfortable. Are ivory colored tuxes tacky? (i think they could be) Are there lightweight material tuxes. Can they rent tan suits? Any suggestions appreciated. Colors are green and a lighter green short dresses for the girls (yellow daisys for flowers lots of daisys) Wedding is outdoor, reception is indoor (weather permitting) Thanks

With the green and yellow, lightweight light grey tuxes would look wonderful. We had them for our July wedding - very hot.

Ivory tuxedo's have always been popular, and for a casual, daytime summer wedding I'd say they're perfectly acceptable and lovely.

what about a nice pair of pants and a button up shirt..thats what we are doing..my wedding is casual though so it may not work for yours

Go with the tan or a khaki material. You don't have to use tuxes, you could do suits for another option as well. And I love the idea of pairing those with green ties or suspenders for your own unique look. Congrats!

Your fiance should go to a tux/suit rental shop, and they will show him what is appropriate; based on whether it's a casual or formal wedding, location, etc. They should have several selections. It's not really something you can do for him.
