i know it would not have saved the common man much, but how much would it have saved an over the road truck driver.

    Do you honestly think the greedy oil companies would allow the price to drop?

    If the Gov dropped the taxes the next day the oil companies would have a new "excuse" to raise the prices to offset the drop. Something stupid like "it's hurricane season and we are worried about interruption." DUH?!?!
