Summer jobs for a 13 yr old?

im 13 and i need to find a job that pays (if there are any) for someone my age. can anyone think of any real paying jobs i could do this summer. my friend whos 12 works over the summer cleaning a pet shop or something so maybe something like that, idk, please help. thnx

Start your own lawn mowing or car washing business. Write your name and number down on pieces of paper and give them to all your neighbors. Make money.

this is how i got LOTS of money before i got a real job, and do it even at my work sometimes.

if your parents have a costco card or access to any other kind of bulk sale grocery store, go there and buy a huge box of 3 muskateers, snickers, hershey's, ect (anything you would see at a reguar snack bar). usually you can get a price of about 25 cents per bar.

Now put all those in a lunch pale and take it to anything public you can (baseball game, school, whatever) and sell them for a dollar a piece. If you buy 20 bars for 5 dollars and sell all of them, you just made 15 dollars in a day. sell those on a regular basis, and soon enough you'll have to buy 50 at a time just to have enough to sell a one event. easy money. :D

I'm also 13, and I'm going to do babysitting for my sister.  You could also do petwashing, petwalking, or any other animal related services if your fond of dogs, cats, etc.
