Well, I got these 2 sun Conures I put them both in the same cage after a week of being side to side. Then I let them both out to play and they were so Great together. Like I asked I think Pebbles is a Female and Harley is a Male. But dont know for sure. They are like best friends, Cleaning each others feathers, Stay beside each other most of the day. There are just sometimes they seem to fight a little. But It seems like Pebbles Start it. Do you think that is because it is mating time? Like I asked the other day they looked like they were mating. What do think I should do. 95% of the time they are GREAT together. And they are in a huge cage together so it is not because the cage is to Cramped. i would love to hear from you. Thanks for reading Guys!

  1. Oh, it's completely normal.  We have three green-cheeked in a cage together (one of ours is named Pebbles too, :) )  They are like the three musketeers and follow each other everywhere...but they are very competitve and they have their little fights throughout the day too.  Also, I have a Jenday conure, and she just thinks that she is the biggest bird ever...she tries to fight our Grey and Macaw...which are large birds.  She's a mean little thing.  But I think you are fine...they have a large cage and you said they are friends, so it's probably just a little fight :)

  2. I think conures tend to do this for fun, kind of like how dogs wrestle with each other. As long as they aren't injuring each other in any way, I wouldn't worry about it.

  3. normal.  birds like to pick on each other.  as long as they are not hurting each other it is ok.  they could be two boys and one is telling the other one he is the boss
