The impressive Sun, who has been playing terrific badminton for the last few tournaments, continued her elevated play and thrashed Lydia without showing her any mercy in just 26 minutes.
Chinese lady started her campaign in a dominating fashion and did not lose her focus at any stage. She stayed aggressive all the way and ended up the contest in straight sets with a crushing margin on the board.
On the other hand, Lydia failed to prove her worth in the arena as she could not play attacking and positive badminton throughout the contest and easily bowed down against the in-form Sun without showing any considerable performance.
