Sun burn on face? First day of school Monday!? Help!?

Ok well I am a competitive swimmer but because I had an event to attend to this evening i opted to do a 1:30 Practice rather than my usual 6-7 one. I put on sunblock but my nose, cheeks, and area above and between my eyebrows is very, very red.

It isn't painful, but it's red. I don't think it will peel though. How long will it take for the redness to go down? I have school monday...I don't want my face to be all red when I go!

Thanks! What can I do to make the redness go away? I've already used aloe but I know that just soothes the pain dosnt rid of the redness.

  1. im a competetive swimmer too. i had a championship meet in july and the same thing happened to me!! it took about 2 days to go away completely but what you can do is put a lot of aloe on it every hour!!! that helps a lot. dont go an hour without putting more on!! hope that helps =]

  2. aloe vera sunburn lotion with redness fading antixiodant

    and wear foundation :)

  3. ok well

use REAL aloe if u dont grow it ask some1 tthat does, he/she wont mind

    eye drops work wonders

but dont put too many chemicals on it

dont scrub just yet, wash tenderly with cool water

once it starts peeling (if it does) use a gentle scrub, also use a tinted moisturiser to cover up (oil free)

  4. use a lot of lotion on your face, it helps the redness go away

  5. use a face scrub to get ride of the top layer of skin..the redd. and just use a lighter foundation.

  6. if you use foundation, if a girl, use a little extra on the spots, or use some concealer.

If you're a guy, I have no idea what you should do.
