Sun freckles? why!?!?

Question

i just got back from cancún and i now have lots of light brown freckles on my nose..why is this?????? i know its because of the sun but need more info pls.

Too much UV exposure causes skin to produce melanin (brown pigment).  Some people tend to have melanin producing cells clustered together instead of evenly distributed so they get freckles.  They will probably fade soon.
