Hi. I was in rhode island and i got the WORST sunburn ever. my face is all red, and even when i don't move it kills. I have cheerleading tomorrow, and I really don't want to look bad (i know it sounds silly, but I'm a teenage girl, so yeah,) so what can i do to take the redness away? and i noticed it's "bubbly" looking! what can i do? thanks!

  1. u really should have put suncream on. try using a higher factor next time!

for the sunburn try natural yogurt it will help allot with the blisters that you have just noticed and also get aloe vera gel and put it in the fridge to cool it first and that will stop the soreness, the redness should go down too.

  2. rub olive oil into your skin - makes it cool down but it will still be red (but not sore)  and then put moisturiser on the next day and foundation if you dont wanna b red xx

  3. Aloe should be your best friend for the next few days. I used to let myself get badly burnt at least once a year (dumb and not to mention terrible for your skin) and aloe really helped me. Don't use any harsh soaps to clean your face with either b/c your skin is already mega dry and will only make your inevitable peeling much worse. Putting the aloe vera in the fridge was also a good suggestion ...that will feel very good on your burn for sure. When not applying aloe you should be applying lotion. I personally would not suggest applying foundation as that might dry out your skin (depending on what you use). I would actually wear as little makeup as possible to make cleaning your face as easy and painless as it can be.

  4. Please, do not do as one responder said and rub oil on yourself.  You have to pull the heat out and the oil will only cook your skin more.  The bubbles are blisters.  If the sunburn is on your arms, legs, etc., run a tub of water as cool as you can stand it.  Pour in some plain white vinegar and soak.  If it is only your face, run water in the sink and add vinegar.  Wet a wash cloth and apply to your face, careful not to get it in your eyes.  When the wash cloth feels warm, wet and reapply.  Then apply aloe vera gel to the burned areas.  Definitely stay out of the sun until you are healed.  And drink plenty of water.  You have likely dehydrated yourself.

  5. put on sour cream. It will make you feel better. I am not sure what to do to make you look better!

  6. I WAS BORN AND RAISED IN FLORIDA THERES ONLY ONE THING ..ALOE .
