Take some black tea... along with some camomile tea and brew in a bowl...  Place in friderator to cool... take a light weight cloth and dip in tea mixture and place on burned area... replace as the cloth heats up.

with new cloth.

Solarcaine, Aloe Vera, Oatmeal bath in cool water.  If its a bad burn with blisters on a young child you should take them to a doctor

i think for pain relief i go for aloe vera gel...it does wonders...

A homemade remedy is vinegar- it works pretty well. But to soothe the pain AND help it heal, I'd recommend aloe vera gel. Get better! :)

aloe vera may feel like it only works for a second but it really keeps on working - if u leave it on overnight u should feel a difference in the morning definetly and it works for all kinds of burns too

here in greece we get sun-burns all the time... the trick is to put yogurt on the skin and leave it for at least 30mins. Try it! it really works (it nourishes the skin and take the burning sensation away)

Products containing lidocaine (such as Bactine) can provide temporary relief from the pain. Make sure to keep using the Aloe Vera gel, it's what will help make the sun burn go away faster and like others have said, it is working even when it feel like it's not helping.

You can also take aspirin, Tylenol, Motrin, or Advil to help with the pain. Just make sure to get the children's versions of the medications for the kids and don't take more than one kind of medication.

Also, if there are blisters seek medical attention immediately. We didn't when my sister and I were younger and we are very lucky that we've had no lasting effects (that we know of). However, I have a feeling the recovery process would've been easier if we'd seen a doctor.
