I was just out fishing with my dad today, it was really hot so we jumped overboard and to cool off. Well, I forgot that when you're wet you burn more easily. So now I have a really bad burn all over my face and arms. I've been applying refridgerated aloe vera on it. But is there anything household item I can use to help, besides aloe?

  1. if your skin starts to peel i use Vaseline but it just make it smooth till it like drys

  2. hah i remember i got super super super burnt this summer

    and

nope theres nothing really to help

you just have to wait it out

it should stop hurting in a few days

and at least youll get a tan (:

  3. Have a cool shower and wear soft, loose clothing that won't irritate the sunburn. There are products you can get like in supermarkets, pharmarcies etc that help ease sunburn. You could ask someone in your family to quickly get you some.

  4. I have this Banana Boat lotion that has Aloe and Vitamin E combined, and somehow, it turns my burn into a tan!

    So try that I guess.

  5. Try noxema it makes it nice and cold i do it all the time

  6. Keep applying aloe and maybe apply a dab of toothpaste in the really bad spots. Always use SPF 50 suntan lotion until the burn goes away.

Don't refridgerate the aloe and get the AVEENO brand. Have a sun-safe summer!

Don't refridgerate the aloe so it's more natural and it's better for your skin!

  7. Dilute cider vinegar with water. About half and half to the mixture. Soak a cloth in it and squeeze it out. Then put it on your sunburn.  Wet the cloth again when it gets warm. It sounds like it would hurt but it doesn't. I am a redhead and have gotten sunburns all my life, and it works!
