Sunday afternoon date ideas?!?

i live in arizona (NO BEACH)

and my boyfriend wants me to pick somewhere to go

pretty much right now

it's 6:00pm here and obviously it's sunday

what wouldn't be closed, oh yeah and it needs to be free

please don't say a park or swimming because he has already rejected those ideas

Don't you have a mall?  Go window shopping or just walk around the mall.  Have some friends come over and play board games.  Take a pinic to the park and eat and watch the sky.    Grab a kite and take it to the park and fly it.  Find a softball game at the park and watch that.   Bike riding in the park.  

I know you said don't say park, but there are lots of things to do at the park.  

Ask him what he has in mind, if he has already turned down the park and swimming.

get a basketball and shoot some hoops against him - you don't have to play one on one, it can be a game of 21 or horse or something that just involves basic shooting.   he'll think it's cool you suggested a sport - and that you are such a good sport thinking of something he might like to do that you were open to.

fishing at a lake or pond?

play tennis.
