Sunday’s meeting gave R Thompson a reason to celebrate after attaining four victories in the 462M Flat at Kinsley
On Saturday, the 17th of September, Kinsley racing course gave R Thompson only one win, even though he participated in ten races out of fourteen. However, this Sunday, the dirt track was very kind on R Thompson’s warriors, who not only assisted
him in earning four wins, but Thompson was also proclaimed as the trainer with the most wins of the meeting.
Leathems Revenge, a brindle dog, was the first hound who made trainer R Thompson proud, when he gradually took the lead position and finished first.
The 7/2 favourite impressed his trainer because he also accomplished in vanquishing the two joint favourites of the race, Profile Man and Kranky Evan.
After the A6 462M flat race at 3:13 PM, R Thompson’s second triumph race began.
The black dog starting his run from trap 1, railed all the way till he got hold of the wire, with his out class pace.
Being in the race as a 7/2 favourite, Haggswood Black fantastically defeated the most ideal hound of the race, 11/4 favourite, Grainnes Gift.
Covering the distance in 28.76 seconds, R Thompson’s hound won the purse worth £57.
The third race that gave R Thompson a reason to push the boat out, was the Grade A5 462M Flat.
As the clock struck 4:14 PM, the doors of the trap opened for the warriors to start their chase for the lure.
Among the lot of hounds, Dromintee Hope very skillfully cleared her way and placed herself at the lead for R Thompson.
The 9/2 favourite, white and black b***h with her swiftness, victoriously covered the required distance in 28.28 seconds.
The trap 5 racer not only got hold of the £59 purse for trainer R Thompson, but she also whitewashed Swift Alternate, the 7/4 ideal of the race.
The last race, which not only brought end to the meeting with its conclusion, also gifted R Thompson his last and fourth victory of the day.
The A7 462M Flat race had Dundrum Major in trap 6 to welcome him in the competition.
Being a 7/1 ideal in the race, the hound started his race with an amazing pace, and later on the blue and white dog promptly crossed the finish line.
R Thompson’s dog won the purse worth £52 and defeated the superlative of the race, Coolemount Mover, who came in as a 2/1 favourite.
The event concluded as R Thompson sang praises for his champs and their amazing performances that helped him win a handsome amount of winnings.
