Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback confident of improvement as he insists no one is panicking

However, the youngster confirmed that no one at the club had begun to panic despite Sunderland currently occupying the
16th spot on the English Premier League table with just six points from the opening eight fixtures.

While the media is ripe with rumours of Bruce heading out if results don’t improve in the upcoming fixtures, Colback insisted Sunderland
were not in a state of panic. The 21-year-old admitted Sunderland had not had the best of starts but were on the road to recovery.
Colback said in an interview:
“You go into every game feeling under pressure, the fans want to win every game and that's to be expected.
It's been a tricky start but I think a few of the games could easily have gone the other way, and it would have been a different story.”
Colback, who spent two seasons on loan with Championship side Ipswich Town, revealed the manager had the support of the entire team. Despite a pressure to win, the English midfielder insisted the Black Cats were not yet panicking. He retained confidence
in the fact that the team could turn their season around, despite the recent 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
He revealed:
“Nobody's panicking, everybody's calm and everybody's completely behind the manager. We can turn it around.”
The young midfielder, who has the ability to play as a left back if need be, revealed he felt his side had been extremely unlucky to come away with a defeat from their trip to Arsenal. With a little improvement, Colback was certain such situations could
be avoided in the future and Sunderland could be on their way to the top half of the Premier League table.
Colback continued:
“We're very disappointed, we thought we had done enough to come away with at least a point, but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 had a lot of the ball and obviously that's to be expected. We created chances ourselves, and we're very disappointed to come away with a defeat.”
