Sulley Muntari to focus on Premier League
Ghanaian playmaker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sulley-Muntari-c34312 insisted he was not prepared to make a decision on his future but was more focused on trying to help Sunderland finish in the top six of the English Premier League. The Black Cats have improved drastically this season and
could very well finish in the top six if they manage to maintain a consistent performance in the remaining matches.
Muntari arrived at the Stadium of Light from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan on a short term move and has been rumored of extending his stay in the English Premier League. Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has already expressed his wish of keeping the 26-year-old at the club, but
he is aware the decision ultimately lies with the player. Muntari on the other hand is willing to wait until the end of the campaign to decide his future.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ghana-c2905 International revealed that leading Sunderland to a good position in the league was his first priority. Muntari said while speaking to reporters, “Right now I want to concentrate only on Sunderland and these nine games we have because we're doing
well at the moment. But we want to be in the top six. It's not finished yet. After that I'll start thinking about my future, but right now it's about the team, not me.”
The former Portsmouth player got a chance to play alongside countryman http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Asamoah-Gyan-c6791 at Sunderland and revealed the player had been a great help. “I was saying the other day I want to go away because I can't take any more of Asa. I've been here for one month
and I'm dead. He talks a lot, but he is wonderful,” added Muntari.
AC Milan to bid £10 million for Jose Enrique
Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly lining up a £10 million bid for Newcastle United left back Jose Enrique, who has attracted interest from Europe’s elite after a splendid performance this season. The Spaniard will be out of contract in 2012 and Milan
are ready to try and lure the player to Italy at the end of this campaign.
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew previously mentioned that he was not willing to negotiate with any players until the club was safe from relegation. The Magpies are currently in mid-table, but the roller-coaster that the English Premier League is, anything could
be possible at the end of the season.
Premier League rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 are also interested in signing the defender and will most likely start a bidding war with Milan in the summer. The Reds previously attempted to sign the Spaniard in 2007 from Villarreal but the player decided to stay. Kenny
Dalglish will try his luck once again in the upcoming summer transfer window.
