Sunderland striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Al-Ain-c38290, has revealed he could end up anywhere next season.
The 26-year-old Ghanaian signed with the Black Cats in 2010 from Rennes on a four year deal but after difficulties with then manager Steve Bruce parted ways with the club after just a year. He joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 side Al-Ain on a season long loan.
Since then there have been many changes at Sunderland, with Martin O’Neill having replaced Steve Bruce as the manager of the club. The former Aston Villa manager initially wanted Gyan to return to the Stadium of Light but has recently hinted that it was
no longer a possibility.
Carlo Nohra, the Sunderland chief executive, on the other hand remains confident that Gyan will remain with the club. The player himself has yet to commit his future with either Sunderland or Al-Ain, claiming he was uncertain where he would end up next season.
Gyan said in an interview:
“Honestly, I'm very happy since I came here, everything seems to be perfect.
Definitely if you go somewhere and everything there is perfect, you want to stay, but we are still in negotiations and we will have to wait and see until the end of my loan deal.
It could be anywhere. I'm ready to go anywhere and I need to make the right decision. Any decision I make, I think, has to be the right decision for me, not for the people.”
The player revealed that while things were perfect for him at Al-Ain, he was not certain if he would remain with them past the end of the season. He revealed he could be headed to any side, something which he would decide after giving it serious thought
since he wanted to make the right choice.
Gyan has been in terrific form since joining Al-Ain, scoring 24 goals for the side to help them secure the domestic title. The Ghanaian can easily be called the best player for the UAE side, which is why they will be determined to retain him for another
season or two.
