Question:

Sunflower Growing Questions?

I have been growing sunflowers all summer and I start them in a pot. Almost every time, they have a dangerously thin stem and they don't produce as many leaves as they should. So every time I transplant them into my garden they just die out. What can I do to help prevent that?

  1. Sunflowers need deep pots as their roots grow straight down. Pot diameter is not as important as the depth.
