would be imperative for the Men in Blue to maintain their high level of confidence.
"No such thing as dead rubber when India and Pakistan are playing. Results are important for followers of both the countries," Gavaskar said. "India would certainly want to win as they would to continue with the winning rhythm.

Indian captain added.
Sharma is originally a middle-order batsman; however, the team management has decided to use him as an opener in this tournament, taking into account India’s existing strength in the middle-order.
