Sunil Narine will be the trump-card in Test series – Cricket News Update

The 24-year-old cricketer from Trinidad & Tobago picked up seven wickets in the two-match T20 series at Florida against the Black Caps, and carried forward the momentum by picking up 13 scalps in the five One Day Internationals, played
earlier this month. For his brilliant performance, the off-spinner was named the Player of the Series.
With the first Test against the Kiwis starting today, the West Indian captain believes that Narine is going to be the difference between the two sides, the pitches being most likely to assist slow bowlers.
Sammy praised the young spinner’s performance in limited-overs encounters and hopes that Narine will continue to bamboozle visitors in the longer version of the sport as well.
"Especially the type of wickets we play on in the Caribbean, spin plays an important role," the West Indies skipper expressed. "We have a world class spinner in Narine who proved that through the one-day and T20 competitions that
he is a handful in the Caribbean. I back him to go out there and do well for us."
Narine made his way to international cricket last year, during the tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, but came to the limelight in the fifth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), when he helped his franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), clinch
the title for the very first time.
The youngster made his Test debut in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 earlier this year but failed to make a huge impression. Therefore, Narine will be looking to make amends in the forthcoming battle.
There is a lot of hype about the return of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/CH-Gayle-c1221 in the Test team, but Sammy said that the team is focused on winning the series against the Black Caps.
"I know he is looking forward to be back in white clothes as well. Not only Chris but the entire team is looking forward to the Test series," Sammy added.
