Sunny Side Up expected to be dominant in Betfred Sharples Group Handicap (Div II)
Sunny Side Up will be chasing a hat-trick of victories in the sport, by claiming the Betfred Sharples Group Handicap (Div II) at Haydock in England on Friday, September 7, 2012. She was struggling at the start of the season, but has found some form in recent
times, which will help her get the attention of the punters.
None of the other runners seem to be in a position to match the skills of the favourite filly, who is in spectacular form right now. She has a great chance of walking away with a comfortable victory in the £4,205 race, which is scheduled to start at 14:30
GMT.
There might be an outside chance for Rylee Mooch to cause an upset in the race, as he will like the conditions at Haydock. He was victorious in his penultimate outing, which shows that his confidence level is good. However, he will need to be extremely lucky
in order to finish ahead of his main rival at the end of the day.
Sunny Side Up has been rated as the outright favourite to take the top spot at Haydock and she will enter the race with a starting price of 9 to 4. It is a good opportunity for the bettors to win some easy money over her.
The three-year-old filly has taken part in a total of 14 races and her strike rate is not bad at all, as she has managed to win four of them. Moreover, she has also managed to finish as a runner up on a couple of times whereas secured the third spot thrice
in her career.
The Richard Fahey’s trainee started off her career on a positive note, securing a couple of back-to-back third place finishes in her first two outings. She struggled a bit afterwards, but bounced back to form with a spectacular victory in December 2011.
She finished the season on a high with a runner up position and her team would have been pleased with that.
However, things did not work out well in favour of the Irish filly at the start of next year. Despite that, she showed a lot of character and has gained the confidence back. Therefore, it will be difficult to stop her good run of form under Laura Barry.
