Sunology Natural Sun Protection becomes official product of LPGA Tour 2012
The LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) has told that it has taken on board McNabb Nutraceuticals, LLC in a new deal that has made the company’s main product “Sunology Natural Sun Protection” its Official Sunscreen Product of the LPGA Tour for 2012.
The deal was signed between the concerned officials of the LPGA and McNabb Nutraceuticals, LLC.
The company has a range of products in skin care and the deal between the two entities will see players using the Sunology Natural Sun Protection on the course in the 2012 Tour.
The LPGA officials said that the deal was signed at the 2012 Natural Products Expo West, California.
The deal is expected to give LPGA players a sense of protection on the course, as there have been concerns regarding sunburns and the increased risk of different type of skin diseases.
The move by LPGA and the company is being appreciated by experts, as it will give players the much-needed confidence.
Edward Willett, LPGA Vice President of Business Development said that the deal between the LPGA and the company will prove beneficial for the promotion of golf and business.
He added that the officials wanted to ensure safe golf for players by providing them with an effective skin care product on the course.
“Our partnership with Sunology® will help to equip the LPGA’s players, staff and fans with an important and healthy tool in the prevention of skin cancer,” Willett said and added that players have also appreciated the step.
He said that the product is designed to protect skin from the effects of direct sunlight and will give players a totally new experience on the course.
“This announcement continues the positive momentum that the LPGA has felt both on and off the golf course in 2012,” Willett further said.
McNabb Nutraceuticals, LLC is known for manufacturing natural products that are certified by FDA, meaning there is less risk of substandard products.
On the other hand, experts have also welcomed the deal, saying that players normally spend hours in sunlight, which makes them easily exposed to sunburns. They said that sunburns typically increase the risk of skin cancer.
