Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets – Cricket news
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were on the receiving end on Sunday, as they faced defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets in the Indian Premier League match that was played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
KKR have had a disappointing tournament this year and this fixture was no different where they were completely outplayed in all the departments.
Parthiv Patel, who hammered a match-winning knock of 47 runs for Hyderabad was named as the player of the match as his side reached the target of 131 runs in 18.5 overs for the loss of five wickets.
Earlier after winning the toss, Kolkata Knight Riders, chose to bat first in a bid to post a huge score on the board.

Apart from Pathan, who stayed unbeaten on 49, none of the remaining batsmen were able to pose a serious threat, which consequently restricted KKR to a total of 130 runs.
