Question:

Sunscreening the eyes?

Looking to buy sunglasses that are best for my eyes. I know to buy ones that protect the entire eye and sides, also the darker the lens the better, but I get confused about the UVA and UVB. Should the sunglasses say both 100% UVA and UVB? And which is the best? Any name brand best, not wanting to spend over 30.00 or so. Thanks

  1. Yeah, full covering.

After my eye surgery, my eye surgeon told me to head to the surf shop and get a pair of Smith sunglasses.  They are a bit heavy, but the clarity is amazing and I don't get headaches - yes they do protect 100% from the sun, but I was more concerned with glare and headaches.

    Give them a look...

  2. I think the full covering of the eyes and both protection of the UVA and UVB is best, check your local stores, if it isn't there, check an eye doctor and they may have it. :]]
