Sunset viewpoint around Lauterbrunnen?

My family and I are taking a trip to Switzerland where we will have a day and a half to spend around Lauterbrunnen. Weather permitting, where do you recommend we could view a nice sunset. I had originally thought the top of the Schilthorn would be to die for, but it seems as if the cable cars that run up and down shut before that time of day; and hiking in the dark down a mountain is obviously out of the question. We will have a swiss flexi pass to use for this day (no car), so we need a place we can get to and back via public transit. Our hotel for the night is in Lauterbrunnen. Thanks for any and all tips and advice.

Wengen is a nice place for seeing the sunset. the train only takes 17 minutes to Lauterbrunnen and the last train leaves Wengen 25 minutes past midnight.

i've checked the departure times of the last trains back from Schilthorn and Kleine Scheidegg but these times are ridiculous early (between 6 and 7pm) what is far prior the sunset.
