Sunshine Coast Attractions - What is a MUST See/Do?

Question

We only have two days on the Sunshine Coast, we'd like to go to the Eumundi Markets, but want any recommendations?

We don't have kids.

now to the question:

Our becahes here on the sunshine coast are not the pick for those who like the big waves. Sunshine Coast beaches are more for swimming and body boarding. Try Mooloolaba, Alex Heads and Maroochy beach. If you do like big waves or want a nice long walk, try Mudjimba and Coolum Beach.

Emundi markets are a great thing to see and do....but be a little wary of the prices up there as it can be very expensive!

But lunch on the beach, the markets, try Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore for shopping for more retail products and there are plenty of Golf Courses if you are a golfer. There are Championship courses in most suburbs as well as 2 good quality par 3 courses at Glenview and Tanawah.

oh...speaking of Glenview way, the Australia Zoo is out at Beewah. Its only small to the likes of Taronga or Melbourne Zoo but it is worth a look if you cant find anything else to do. Again, fairly pricy but what zoo doesnt cost an arm and a leg to get into these days?

and anohter one i just throught of was the Ginger Facotry at Yandina!

if your flight lands during the day, there is an information kiosk at the Airport, next to the baggage claim.

Any of the sunshine coast beaches especially maroochydore area is really nice but with only 2 days and one is at the Eumundi markets you may only have time to go to Noosa . The walk through The National park there is good and the ranger will point out which tree a koala is likely to be seen. If you had time Australia Zoo is really good and from there you will see the Glass house mountains. nearby is a fantastic village called Monteville . It's really unique.

or go jetskiing on the gold coast

take an hour cruise

go to burleigh heads beach
