Suntour suspension forks- what is the difference (price/quality) between the models?

ie xcm, xct, xcr, raidon, xc pro etc? I am spending up to us $700 for a hardtail bike and want to know the best affordable suspension fork option in this range, the groupset will probably be shimano alivio, in the store the aluminium frame is generic but labelled ´GER bikes´ , the forks seemed all to be suntour. Or is it better to go for entry level Rock Shocks? thankyou!

Suntour front suspension forks are definitely making a comeback ( after the dominance of ROCK SHOX, Manitou, Marzocchi & then FOX wiped out the competition.....).  The Brits love the new emerging new models and TREK, Raleigh, Schwinn have put them on entry level bikes more than other brands.( There's also 'Spinner' which is quite making good reviews and RST& still making sweet forks). For Rock Shox ---get either a REBA World Cup or PIKE models.
