Suny plattsburgh or university of vermont?

Question

for nursing, which college would be a better idea to go to? Is the city of Plattsburgh have anything to do? I love the outdoors and these locations are ideal to me.=] anyone with any input very much appreciated!

UVM is a much stronger school than is SUNY Plattsburgh. Both are in stunning locations. I can certainly see the appeal. But I'd pick UVM, if given a choice.

But I think you should apply to both. See where you get in, and see which one offers you the best financial aid package. Then considering everything, decide.

If you're looking for more options of colleges that are in absolutely stunning natural environments, you may also like University of Hawaii Manoa (ocean and mountain), Flagler College (also ocean, not mountain), Pepperdine (both ocean and mountain), UC Santa Cruz (on a bluff, in a redwood forest, overlooking the ocean - killer), College of the Atlantic (in Maine, gorgeous), Sweet Briar College (small mountains, but v. nice). Of those, based on your preference for UVM and Plattsburgh, I'd have you look seriously at Hawaii, Santa Cruz and College of the Atlantic. You'd need to check re: nursing major.

Plattburgh ~ smaller city life....and the great outdoors.... I went to PSU and would highly recommend it...
