Super 14/ rugby????

Question

At the start of the season I said that the blues were overated because they started with a few easy games, looks like I was right. but which is the top team sharks or crusaders? and who do you think will hit form at the end of the season? blues, tahs, hurr, force?

Injuries.

Can't foresee them or can you?  Blues don't have any cover for Evans - which is insane because he is injury prone and a major play maker.

Crusaders have cover right across the pitch. And tend to slot in clones of the incumbents who know the sets inside out and the performance of the team is not reduced. Also play their bench smart. Deans and his staff have got on top of the "elves" pretty quickly, and Crusaders look twice as fit as most other franchises.

Sharks and Stormers aren't done and dusted just yet, and I rate the "Kins" chances at the top four better than the Blues or any Aussie team this year. The Tahs did look pretty useful against the red and black in the weekend despite the score line, but Crusaders going into the by, and about 10 points clear of the pack - no one will stop them.

The race to chase Canterbury will be between Sharks, Stormers,  Kins, Blues.

Originally I picked Crusaders, Blues, Sharks and Bulls, based on what had happened in the pre-season games. Since then the Blues seem to have lost their ability to think the moment they go out on the field, and make all sorts of stupid mistakes, but are still better than the Bulls, who seem to have forgotten how to play.

The Crusaders and the Sharks are still there. They both play smart, and play well. The Force have stuck their hands up, running the Crusaders close and managing to beat the Blues on home turf - that's not an easy job! The Blues could still get back up there if they work hard at it and remember how to play smart. The Hurricanes can get into the final four, if they can play consistently well, instead of the hot'n'cold wonders they usually are. I'd rate the Warratahs and the Stormers as outside chances; both teams have the ability, but managing to keep themselves at the high level required will take a toll.

Crusaders are the most professional and consistent team in the S14.  If the Force can maintain their composure they will be in the top 4.  In my opinion.

the blues overrated??? try sayng that at the end of the super 14 mate when the blues have won it okay  though they looked more like the crusaders last saturday jumping up and down after ben atiga won the game with a penalty kickthats very un-auckland like winning rugby games by penalty kicks we get enough of that boring stuff with the northern hemisphre teams and the crusaders the blues will make the top four them the hurricanes the crusaders and a token australia/south africa team

Hi Archer,

                   I think the blues have had there little stutter but should be in the top 4 in the end. The biggest game of the season is on friday when the hurricanes play the crusaders and with the hurricanes winning and the crusaders still having to ahve a bye this will close things up at the top of the table. I think the top 4 will be crusaders, hurricanes, blues and either ( sharks or chiefs ). After the play - offs the hurricanes will win the trophy beating the crusaders in the final. Go the HURRICANES
