  1. moto gp

  2. MotoGP is faster due to spending.  You can look at top speed or lap times to see the "faster" part.  As for why...Moto GP just spends a lot more money on their prototype machines than Superbike spends on their production based(loosely) machines.  Also, new and expensive technologies are researched and developed for Moto GP and then trickle down to other racing series.  Example; Yamaha will spend a lot developing say... traction control for the YZR-M1, then a few years later we may see it in Superbike on the YZF-R1 and finally we may see it on the production R1 years down the road(if we're lucky)

  3. pretty close but the gp bikes are faster . even with a smaller engine

  4. MotoGP is faster.

The W.S.B are limited to shite tyres and very poor " road bike looking rules "

MotoGP is cutting edge and on the ball.

Try this for an idea : http://www.motogp.com/en/About+MotoGP .

  5. moto gp bikes are faster, their prototype machines, and can be chopped and changed, at will.

superbikes are bound, by production rules, and not so easily changed, so improvement is slower, plus they have the control tyre rule, again slowing improvement....<^><...

  6. We are all in agreement then GP is faster..  I think Jason covered the why very well.

but the real reason is the rules. they even slow down the GP bikes.  everything from tyres to airflow. its in the fine print to slow the bikes down. GP being a prototype sport allows more freedom to bend or manouver around the rules.
