Super Bowl: New England Patriots win will be down to fewer points margin – NFL News
The New England Patriots are going into Super Bowl game against the New York Giants on Sunday, February 05, 2012, with an aim of winning the National Football League (NFL) championship,
and even if they are successful in their ambitions, their victory will be down to fewer points margin, could be 3 points, maximum.
The New York Giants, who have done it in the past, definitely are not going to let the Patriots to go with a free ride; they will have to prove it until very last minute of the game that
they have beaten the Giants.
It is expected to be a rematch of the 2007 NFL championship without any apparent advantage to the Giants of being winners from the past. The Patriots have emerged very strongly since they
lost their last game, that too against the Giants, in the 2011 NFL regular season. They are leading a ten-game winning streak into the final game, the Super Bowl, of the league.
The game is expected to be a low-scoring game, and the New England Patriots, who are apparently going into it with a slightly better position, will have to come out with their perfect
form to prove themselves winners of the crown.
Apparently, both teams are going to be neck-to-neck on the field and will try their utmost to get past each other more frequently. The Patriots, who are the better performers in the second
half of the game, hold the chance of toppling their opponents by the late unleashing of their attacks.
Since their offence is far better rated on the NFL, one of the bests in fact, their quarterback, Tom Brady, will be their main card and they have proven time and again that no one knows
when and how effectively use that card better than the Patriots themselves.
Brady is the definite edge they hold over their opposition’s offence line, which is led by Eli Manning, the younger brother of start QB, Peyton Manning, and the Patriots are well aware
of the fact that he is Eli not Peyton himself.
Patriots’ QB has consistently topped the team’s performance in and after the regular season and he knows that the next game is the most crucial game of his career. It is a time for his
team to revenge their 2007 Super Bowl defeat and an opportunity for the QB to prove that he is no doubt one of the bests lot on the league.
Despite that Giants’ defence has already shown their intentions of going after and going rough against Brady; containing the quarterback will be a daunting task for them, and he is definitely
going to give them fewer chances than they are probably imagining at this moment.
So, it will be a story of the Patriots at the end, irrespective to the fact that it will be a very hard-fought for and very close win.
