In super bowl betting how can I place straight bets, please explain the super bowl straight bets in detail. As I am new to super bowl betting I am desperately in need of this information.

  1. As mentioned above, straight bets use a point spread. Using a point spread allows the sportsbooks to even out the odds of a game, thus being able to offer -110 odds on both teams. When the sportsbooks can get 50% of the wagers placed on each side, they win no matter what. From a bettors perspective, it makes the game more exciting because even if your team loses the game, they might cover the spread and win your bet.

    At -110 odds, winners receive $100 in profit for every $110 they bet. If you bet $110, you’ll receive $210 total in return ($110 original bet + $100 profit).
