Super Bowl game: New England Patriots likely to dominate in second half – NFL News
The New York Giants and New England Patriots are expected to be neck-to-neck in their efforts to claim the Super Bowl crown. The game is going to be a hard-fought and close finish.
Both teams are going into the event with the strengths and weaknesses of their own, and are expected to ride on their advantages, which will be varying as the game progresses.
The New England Patriots, who have reputation of late comeback, are most likely to dominate in the second half.
It is the aggressive nature of their offence line that keeps building on its pressure on their opponents until very last second of the game.
Tom Brady will key to their ability to their likelihood of stronger show-off in the second time. The quarterback, which has exceeded the stars like Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos’ QB and Colts’ QB, Peyton Manning, in certain aspects of the attack.
The quarterback apparently looks very defensive in the beginning, just like a clever boxer in the ring, who takes all the beating while leaning against the rope, and when his opponent counts him finished, he all of sudden goes aggressive in his punches and
hooks.
Brady had been taken very lightly by his opposition teams in most of the games initially; he in the later proved them wrong, and showed them how much capable he was in helping his to stage a late comeback.
This was something happened to the Baltimore Ravens in the American Football Conference (AFC) championship game.
They apparently remained wary of the Patriots attack in the first half and since their main strength was their league’s second best defence, they did not let the QB free rides. They little realised that he will be even more competitive, attacking and impressive
in the second half.
The Patriots are among leaders in defence on the league’s points table, their attack will be their key to stage a victory, and like in most of their past games, they are going to dominate the game in the second half.
Since both teams are very competitive outfits, it most likely to be a low-scoring game, and if the Patriots manage a score of 23 to 26 points in the total match more than 16 are going to come in the second half.
With all the possibilities on the card, the New York Giants will be tightening their noose around the Patriots’ attack throughout the game, and most importantly in the second quarter.
Again, they might not be total defensive, since both sides are going to maintain a pressure and attack continuously while containing the Patriots quarterbacks’ throws and run. A mix of strategy might help on their chances.
They need to be more watchful of the Patriots in third and fourth quarters.
