Super Smash Bros. Brawl is coming out! Man this is so great! I was SO excited when the original N64 game came out in 99 and than Melee in 01, another addition to the series is just...awesome. Yet...I find myself a little disturbed. The prospect of taking the helm of Link or Samus or Solid Snake and dueling with Mario or Roy or Pitt is tantalizing. It makes my blood rush and causes a hungry grin to appear upon my face. I can't wait to blast my opponent off the screen! Dodge all their attacks and then, boom! ...but...why is that so exciting? I consider myself a man of peace. I really, really, REALLY want to live in a peaceful, happy world where everyone has plenty of food to eat, nice clothes, a safe home, and a good job. I don't like violence and I think war is good for absolutely nothing (cue the song!) Yet, I can't deny how exciting the prospect of playing Brawl is for me.

  1. It's called ADRENALINE. It s a DRUG our bodies make in such situations.

  2. It is just a game.  As long as people don't use violence in real life, it isn't dangerous.  And smash bros has more cartoon violence anyway.  You are not going to hit someone off of the earth.

  3. OK look we only think like this and believe things are wrong and right because of intelect if we never grew in intelligence we would be natrual creatures with no technology and we would be aggressive but only for defensive and survival purposes rather than simple-minded violence. but dont over react its a video game and your freaking out because there are very few games where u can get samus to fight mario and link fighting sonic so its all good nothing to freak out about.

And another thing because of the stupidity of humanity we will never be 100% safe and if it werent for us humans our jobs wouldnt be about money to live but hunting and crops only like natural creatures of the earth

  4. Violence is not so different from lust. For that reason, it is almost inescapable. The same physiological reactions occur, and it's quite interesting to see. A man's face in o****m and in battle are quite similar. You are a healthy young man with healthy young urges. I just pray that you get through them in time.

Also, I'm sorry to say, that mademoiselle had a bit about "adrenaline" being a chemical that kicks in when in a battle situation. That is not true. Adrenaline is a blanket term for cortizone, which is a hormone meant to excite the circulatory and pulmonic systems into a stressful situation. But that can be dangerous!

  5. hey, s***w you, stop having an identity crisis and enjoy the game for god's sake. If you are worried about hurting video game characters then grow up and stop trying to use your lame excuse for imagery to evoke our understanding. All video games have this underlining concept so stop picking on one of the least bad ones. Fighting is just naturally awesome so you play video games instead of doing **** in real life.
