  1. =12+6x-4x+6

    =12+6+6x-4x

    =18+2x

    -2x=18

    x = -9

  2. 3(4+2x)-2(2x-3)

    12+6x-4x+6

    =18+2x

  3. 12+6x-4x-6

    12+2x-6

    6+2x= answer

  4. multiply the values outside the parentesis by those inside to simplify:

    12+6x-4X+6

    simplify by adding like terms

    2x+18

    I assume you just needed to simplify since you did not provide anything on the right side of the equation.

    Care to return the favor?

  5. 12+2x-4x+6=0

    -2x+18=0

    -2x=-18

    x=9

  6. i checked and the first ones right

  7. well you have to multiply so...

    12 + 6x - 4x + 6 =

    so then its

    18 + 2x!!

    (or 2x + 18) most teachers prefer it that way
