Super man or clark kent from smallville??

is superman from the animated series and clark kent from the show smallville the same person?

my little brothers and i have been arguing over this questions for a long time and need an answer.

yes it is the same person. but its two different shows so it's like the same person but two different universes.

Smallville is Cark Kent growing up and training to be Superman.

also Kara Kent is the same person has Supergirl from Superman TAS
