Can anyone recommend anything for sensitive teeth? They are excruciatingly painful!!

Anything OTHER than a toothpaste for sensitive teeth - i've tried them and they do not help.

  1. if desensitizing paste do not work, it means the nerve is involved. You need to got to the dentist & get a root canal treatment done. Try applying some anesthetic cream on that tooth to help temporally.

  2. Best to see the dentist,

My husband was just like you and his dentist recommended Sensodyne Toothpaste and Mouthwash. It took a good few weeks for it to have an effect but he has been using them both for about 5 years now and says they are great.

He wont use any other make and when he goes to the dentist he very seldom needs anything done at all.

  3. NOT TO EAT AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF SWEETS! Sugar will make your teeth very sensitive, so don't eat alot of it! Hard candys and gum are the worse.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Sensodine toothpaste on your finger, rub on each tooth gently 3 times a day. If that dosn't work visit the dentist.

  5. dentist
